18 “But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.

See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
Do you not see it? That He makes a pathway when there seems to be no way. He makes things out of nothing, You must have faith and believe to really see all that He holds for you. Go today asking God to show up in those areas you need Him the most, and have faith for Him to show.

For all we have is God and if we would only see all that He holds for us, we would see all that He desires for us. Nothing here on earth can ever fulfill us like the love of Christ. Not a job, car, a loved one, or even money. We try to choose to do right but then pick the ways of the flesh (words from Paul: Romans 7:15-20). Why, oh why, do we keep to our old ways when the Lord has made us pure and new?(1 Corinthians 7:22) Is it because we are comforted by the pain? Or is it the fear that rides our back like a lion looking for it’s next victim?
Oh how I love the Lord and know that I’m His. Do you know you are His?
Our hearts may fail us but the WORD of God will never let us down. For He always gives you and I a way out and speaks truth to our souls. For His wings will cover us so whom shall we fear. We need to only trust and believe in the One who made us and gives us strength to overcome our past and sinful desires. We must stand on his Word when it feels like the world is coming down on us! Just stand!
The things of the world will always fail you in the end, so allow your unbelief to fall at His feet and allow Him to fill you with Himself.
